Welcome to Michelle's Design Solutions! By contacting Michelle's Design Solutions via Facebook, email, or phone and accessing or using the website and services, you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions. Please read these terms carefully.

 

1. Overview

Michelle's Design Solutions is a freelance entity that provides graphic design, web design/development, and related services to clients. By working with Michelle’s Design Solutions, you agree to abide by the terms outlined here. If you do not agree with these terms, please refrain from using their services.

 

2. Services

The available design and development services options are:

  • Website setup help with Squarespace and Wix.

  • Print Page Layout

  • PowerPoint Presentations

  • Print Material (business cards, flyers, invitations, etc.)

All projects are subject to a written agreement or proposal detailing the scope of work, timelines, and costs.

 

3. Payment Terms

All fees and costs will be clearly outlined in your project proposal or invoice.

  • A non-refundable advance payment must be paid before work on any project begins. For projects, such as print materials or PowerPoint presentations, a non-refundable advance of $35.00-$60.00 is required.

  • Larger projects, such as website setup help or print page layout, may require a larger upfront advance payment, which will be discussed and agreed upon before the beginning of service.

Final payment will be due upon project completion and before the final delivery of files, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

We prefer digital payments through the Intuit QuickBooks invoice link provided.  You also have the option to pay the invoice using either PayPal or Venmo. Please note that payments made by other digital applications, such as CashApp, are possible, but are NOT the preferred method of payment. Payments made by checks, money orders, or cash are also not preferred.

After your payment is processed, you will receive a receipt confirming the services provided and the successful completion of your payment for your records.

Late payments may result in delays or suspension of services.

 

4. Revisions and Changes

  • Minor revisions can be made during the project's working process. If additional revisions are requested after the client’s agreed-upon deadline, an extra fee may be incurred.

  • If significant changes to the project scope are requested after the agreement is signed and or the payment has been received in full, a new proposal or quote will be required.

 

5. Client Responsibilities

  • Clients must provide any specific materials they want included, such as photos, clipart, written content, etc. All necessary materials should be submitted on time to ensure the smooth progress of the project.

  • The client is also responsible for reviewing deliverables and providing feedback within agreed-upon timelines.

  • Delays in client communication or approvals may affect project completion dates.

 

6. Intellectual Property

  • Upon full payment, all rights to the final deliverables (designs, code, etc.) will be transferred to the client.

  • Michelle's Design Solutions reserves the right to showcase completed work in their portfolio unless a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) is in place.

 

7. Termination

  • Either party may terminate the agreement at any time with written notice.

  • In the event of termination, the client will be billed for work completed up to the termination date.

 

8. Limitation of Liability

  • Michelle's Design Solutions is not liable for any damages or losses resulting from the use of their services or products, including but not limited to data loss, financial loss, or business interruption.

  • I DO NOT guarantee specific outcomes (such as increased traffic or sales) from graphic design for print, web, or marketing services.​

10. Changes to Terms of Service

Michelle’s Design Solutions reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on the website with an updated date. Continued use of services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
